Taking a Stand
I have not taken many art classes in the past few years. I have taken basic drawing for approximately five years starting from when I was the age of eight. I have more of intermediate drawing class at an art college summer class for two months in 2016 and finally have gone to an exterior and interior design class in the summer of 2017. Most of my artworks are done independently and many of the photographs are from when I tried street photography.
Art was my first interest that I have had when I realized that people have different interests. Art have been playing a role in my life where it would sometimes stop me from studies and academics. However, I have attended several art classes through my life where I had practice my passion but could never get enough of it. So, in my college education, I would love to put art as one of the big chunks which I would give most of my time by studying, interpreting and experiencing it.

As an artist, I have to observe everything around me and try to get inspirations from the little things. I would say that wit and mystery motivate me as an artist. Inspirations from witty designs or conceptual art pieces make me want to create artworks which can abreast of them. Things or ideas that have a mysterious theme make me think about how I could change certain things that would alter the meaning of an artwork.

Particularly, as I have been working with a craft knife by carving out spaces from a piece of paper, it creates negative spaces on the paper. Doing this helps me to sort out colors from a painting to create a piece with just two colors. Also, combining two different medium is also what I like to do; cutting out parts to create patterns on a water colored paper creates two visual perspective, the negative spaces and the paper space with different colors.
